Preheat the oven to 175°C fan /350°FPlace butter in a microwavable bowl. Heat on a low temperature for 30 seconds until soft.Pour softened 250 Grams Butter (1 cup) into a large bowl with 450 Grams White Sugar (2 Cups). Stir together.
Next add the beaten 4 Large Eggs and 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Whisk altogether until you form a smooth mixture
Add the 120 Grams Plain Flour ( 1 cup), 120 Grams Cocoa Powder, 1 ½ teaspoon Baking powder, 150 Grams Cooking Milk chocolate and ½ teaspoon Salt
Fold together until the flour is no longer visible. Do not over mix.
Pour the mixture into a lined with parchment baking tray and smooth over with a spatula or spoon
Top with 125 Grams Jumbo Chocolate Chips.
Place in the oven and bake for 25- 30 mins. All ovens are different so keep an eye on them towards the end of cooking. They are cooked when the top looks shiny and cracks have started to form on the surface.
Remove from oven but leave in tray until cooled about 1-2 hours. It is normal for the cake to be soft in the middle, it will firm up whilst cooling.Once cooled cut into bars.
Can be served cold or reheat in microwave for 30 seconds to warm a square back up
