It's the festive season and what better way to celebrate than creating your own Christmas Cheese Board? The perfect treat for any special day, a festive family after-dinner treat or a boxing day grazing platter. Put together a deliciously festive cheese and biscuits, dried fruits and nuts. Add a few seasonal festive touches such as cranberry sauce, dates and gingerbread men to make it extra special. Begin by decorating the board you are using as the grazing platter, we used festive foliage.
Pine cones, Christmas Foliage , Glass bottles with twinkle lights, Handful Whole Fresh Cranberries
Optional- Use a cookie cutter to make a Christmas-shaped hole into the mini brie wheel and fill it with cranberry sauce.
200 gram Brie, 2 tablespoon Cranberry Sauce
Start adding the bigger items to the cheese board first, cheeses and fruits.The cheeses we have included here are a guide, but you can mix them up to suit your guest preferences.
200 gram Vintage Cheddar, 150 gram Stilton, 100 gram Smoked Cheese, 100 gram Wensleydale with Cranberries, 100 grams Red Leicester, 150 grams Boursin, 100 grams Port Wine Derby, 4 Figs, 100 grams Dates, Bunch Red Grapes, Bunch Green Grapes
Transfer chutney, pickles and jams into small dishes to add to the platter.
2 tablespoon Sweet Chilli Jam , 2 tablespoon Caramelised Onion
Place different crackers, biscuits and breadsticks around the cheeses.
