Air Fryer Parsnips

Who has time to roast parsnips in the oven? Not me
If you're looking for a delicious and easy side dish, look no further than air fryer parsnips. They're crispy and flavourful and cook up quickly in your air fryer.
Add as little or much extra favour as you wish.
This recipe is perfect for anyone who loves roasted parsnips, with just a few simple ingredients and a quick trip through your air fryer, you'll have some delicious air fryer parsnips ready to serve with Sunday roast dinner.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 Parsnips
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Pinch Salt and Black Pepper

Optional Extras

  • ½ teaspoon Dried Herbs
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • Sprinkle Thyme for garnish

Instructions

  • Peel parsnips.

  • Cut parsnips into even size batons.

  • Put in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil
    1 tbsp Olive Oil

  • Season with salt and black pepper.
    Optional* Add any other optional flavourings now too.
    Pinch Salt and Black Pepper, ½ tsp Dried Herbs, ¼ tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tbsp Honey

  • Mix together with your hands or a spoon, to coat evenly.

  • Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    Set to air fry mode with the temperature set at 200°C /400°F.

  • Cook for 6 minutes turnover and then cook for a further 6-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  • Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme. Serve as a great side with a Sunday Roast dinner
