So many of our recipes use a Cast Iron Dish, I could write a whole blog post about why you need one of these!
Why you need a Cast Iron Dish?

The only other pan I do use regularly in the kitchen is this 3 Tier Food Steamer Pan. I love to steam my vegetables using it, the steamer trays also double up as a colander! The bottom pan is also regularly used to make our rice/lentil/pasta/potatoes in. Perfect with the clear lid so you can keep an eye on whats cooking inside!

The best Knives for your kitchen?
No kitchen is complete without a good set of knifes! If you want a cheap set that will last well, then try out the Kitchen Devils Fab Four, we use these and they are more than adequate for most usual kitchens! Includes a large bread knife, Chefs knife, Vegetable Knife and scissors. Comes with 10 years guarantee!
However, if you want to splash out on a fancier set check out the ProCook Gourmet X30 Knife Set 6 Piece.
Don’t forget to invest in a knife sharpener too! Even old/cheap knives can be made sharp with this sharpener! Check out the video on the amazon link for more details, it will sharpen any blade, of all different shapes and sizes!
Every Kitchen should have accurate scales and measurement tools.
These Salter Digital Scales are a fabulous kitchen tool, you can use them for grams/oz and even ml!! You can continue adding ingredients as you go by pushing tare after each addition!
Cups and measuring spoons get used regularly, our recipes are in UK and US measurements. However, there are many recipes which are only written in cups! I have to say I love the US cup measurements, it’s so much simpler!! I also love the Tala Retro Cook’s measure has measurements marked inside for most items and also cups and ml’s too!
Should I invest in a Pressure Cooker?
This is not a necessity for the Kitchen as such, but we love our pressure cooker!! Makes meals so much quicker and no need to slave over the hob! Pop it all in, shut the lid and let it do its magic! We have a few recipes on here using it, will continue to add more ideas. We use the Drew & Cole Pressure King Pro Pressure Cooker. See below picture with our Gammon joint we cooked in it. We have the biggest one which is for bigger families and has all the options on it. It definitely makes the list for Best Kitchen Products for 2020.
A bonus with this pressure cooker compared to other cheaper brands is you have got a saute/fry mode on it, so no need to brown/sear your meat off in a pan before. Used for Pressure cooking, Frying, Slow Cooking, Baking, Steaming, Warming and even making your own fresh bread, jam or yoghurt. I would recommend also getting the accessories pack to go with it!
Best Colour Coded Chopping Boards
Chop chop chop, check out this great Large Bamboo Wooden Chopping Board! Flexible colour-coded boards for Beef, Chicken, Bread, Fish, Fruit/Veg are stored inside. Ready to be slotted in the groove of the board to stop them slipping!
That sums The Best Kitchen Products for 2020 up for now, we will probably continue to add more throughout the year!
